Basalt quarry stones are natural stones that consist of the volcanic rock basalt. In contrast to basalt chippings, basalt quarry stones are much larger. The basalt quarry stones are sorted in our basalt quarry according to size and appearance. This results in different possible uses.

As soon as the stones get wet, they appear almost black, but return to their original color when dry. Particularly large basalt stones placed as solitary pieces are a real highlight in the garden, but also on company premises or parking lots.
Depending on the size, there are numerous possible uses for basalt stones, for example: for securing slopes, as hydraulic stones, as gabion stones for filling gabion baskets with a closed lid, so that the column can also be used as a table or bench. Basalt stones 300/500 mm or 500/1000 mm are well suited for this area of application. You can use the following rule for quantity calculation as a guide: For the 300/500 mm type, 1 ton of stones are necessary per square meter of wall surface area; for the 500/1000 mm type, you should calculate with 2 tons of stones.
